Tiltify is a useful platform for getting donations directly to non-profits, the platform does however have some limitations. For most streamers, the best way we’ve found to use this platform is to use the Team Campaign (Mario Mania 2026), rather than an individual campaign, as a central hub for donation related information.

Within the Team Campaign, there are overlays that can be added as browser sources in your broadcasting software (OBS, etc.). The overlays show up-to-date donation totals, live incoming donation information, schedule information and more. Many streamers can use these overlays without the need to create their own campaign or overlays.

Some streamers, however, may want to create their own individual campaign that supports the Team Campaign. We would ask that you do not as there is complex set-up regarding donations totals, incentives, and goals.

Once you’ve been added to the Mario Mania team, you can find the Mario Mania 2026 campaign in My Hub → Teams → Mario Mania.

In a Team Campaign, Tiltify does not display the overlays if the user does not have high level permissions. As a work around, see the list of URLs at the end of this section.

For those who may have access, to display the donation tracker and the live donation information, you can find the overlays on Tiltify by going to Overlays at Team Campaign → Branding → Overlays. Copy the overlay-URL and add it as a browser source in your broadcasting application (OBS, etc.) to display it on your stream.

A Team Campaign supports the creation of up to 10 overlays. If there is a need for an additional community overlay, please contact Kody for help. Pending availability, he will be happy to help create this. If necessary, he will be able to make you a Moderator, giving you permission to create/edit any available overlay. Please do not modify any overlay that is not your own.

Below is a list of the currently available overlays. The most commonly used Tiltify widgets are the Progress Bar and the Alert Box. Add a 1920x1080 browser source for the Progress Bar, a 500x500 browser source for the alert box. Just copy these links below to add them as a browser source.

There is an additional Tiltify integration directly through Twitch that helps direct viewers to the donation page. After you’ve been added to the campaign, you can add the Tiltify Panel to your Twitch About page.

To do so, go to Twitch Dashboard → Extensions → Discovery → Search for TIltify. Once the Tiltify Extension is added and authenticated, make sure to Select the correct Campaign → click Save → Activate, and you are done. The panel should now appear on your Twitch About page. We encourage you to make the Tiltify panel the first panel during the event.

Milestones are subdivisions of the total campaign goal. These are typically used as a way to unlock more content in a traditional marathon. As it stands there will be no need to provide these as we have a limited time frame for this marathon. In future years we may look at adding Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Super Mario Bros. 2 (USA)/The Lost Levels.

Rewards are PHYSICAL or DIGITAL rewards. It is highly recommended that you DO NOT offer physical rewards. These require shipping and added complications to getting the donor their specified item. If you offer a digital item like an original MP3, a graphic or drawing, etc., please ensure the reward is formatted to get an email address from them.

Polls are options. This incentive is often used as a “bid war” to help decide things happening on screen (IE choosing your character, changing the version of your game, etc.). These can be structured to end before your start time or continue running until the end where viewers have the option to change your game during the run.

Targets are time-based fundraising for a goal. These can be deadlines to reach a specific amount donated before your time slot. (IE, unlock an additional game during my run, make me play with the DK Bongos, turn my monitor upside down, etc.)

If you have an incentive idea please let us know either in Discord or reach out to Kody via e-mail. We can help add details of the incentive to the Tiltify campaign for use in either the team campaign. Please try to be clear about the details of your incentive, including: the incentive type, name, description, options, quantity, start and stop time, etc. Feel free to be as creative with your incentives as you’d like. Don’t feel limited to the examples listed above.
